Dr. Thomas is twenty five year veteran in behavior analysis starting with his work in developmental disabilities while still a teenager and credits his love and involvement in this field to his younger brother. Dr. Thomas has spent much of his time working with individuals with developmental disabilities, although he has a wide array of interests including organizational behavior management, verbal behavior, behavior analysis in education, and behavioral medicine. Dr. Thomas has started and operated several successful behavioral clinics within the United States and has conducted consulting overseas in seven countries.

He is active in behavior analysis within Mississippi and serves as the current President of the Central Mississippi Association for Behavior Analysis (CMABA). He is the past president of the Missouri Association for Behavior Analysis (MOABA) which he founded while teaching and working at the University of Missouri, Columbia in the late 90's.

Currently he serves as the Director of Outreach and Consultation services for TCLC Mississippi Behavior Clinic and Neuro Developmental Treatment Systems, LLC.
